Beans and Pots

This week, Rata 4 started our unit looking at how gardens are designed to help their plants grow best.  We made window-greenhouses for some bean seeds and then designed a suitable, recycled material container for them to be replanted in once they start to grow. Here are some photos of us at work:

We also went on a nature treasure hunt to find some special things in our environment, like seed pods, different shaped leaves, and the tiniest flowers we could find!

Our First Week Back!

We've had a busy start this term getting ready for our performance on the 27th! But, we've still found time for some great maths, including starting with skip counting by twos!
